Hot pepper growing info:

Hot peppers are incredibly easy to grow at home and are a relative of tomatoes and eggplants in the Nightshade family.  They prefer loamy well draining soil to grow and full sun. If you intend to save seeds, make sure you put adequate distance between pepper varieties of any kind to avoid ending up with super spicy bell peppers or some other variation that is undesired. Plant seeds ¼ inch deep about 8-10 weeks before the average last frost date. About 2-3 weeks after the average last threat of frost day, plant outside between 18-24 inches apart depending on variety. Hot peppers can be planted closer than sweet peppers because on average the plants are just smaller.  They require lots of consistent water when forming fruits for best results.  Harvest depends on the variety, do research pertaining to your specific type.
