Kohlrabi growing info:
Kohlrabi is a cool weather vegetable with similar growing characteristics of cabbage or broccoli. It is grown for its leaves and the bulb that grows at its base. It can be eaten raw, or cooked. Plant ¼” deep, and thin to about 5-6 inches. Most varieties should be harvested when the bulb is about 2” in diameter, however some can be much larger. Direct sow or transplant. Can be grown throughout the winter in some parts of the south, and does great in northern greenhouses.
