These purple onions are an Italian classic. With a long shape, and delicious flavor they are quite unique. Best eaten fresh, they do not store well. While technically a long day onion we have grown them successfully in S. Florida. For Southern climates its best to plant in winter or fall. Northern climates plant in early spring.
Plant 1/4in. deep, 2 in. plant spacing, 4in. row spacing.
1g vial, Approx. 250 seeds
