Cucumber growing info:
Cucumbers are easy to grow for beginners, you can expect huge harvests without much experience from just one plant. They prefer full sun and don’t do well transplanting, so it’s best to plant these seeds directly after the ground is able to be worked in the spring in cold climates. If you get a late frost, cover with a frost blanket as the exposure of a light frost can kill these delicate vines. Plant seeds 1 inch deep. Spacing depends on if you use trellises. Trellised plants need about 12 inches of spacing, un-trellised need between 36-48. If you trellis, do so early on as these vines are delicate and wont handle being wrapped around anything once they’re established. This is a heat loving crop and will produce abundantly in rich soil with plenty of water. Harvest the fruits when they’re the size you’re used to depending on variety.
