Sweet pepper growing info:
Sweet peppers are incredibly easy to grow at home and are a relative of tomatoes and eggplants in the Nightshade family. They prefer loamy well draining soil to grow and full sun. In the south, Sweet peppers need extra care to avoid sun spot from too intense of sun. Plant indoors ¼ inch deep about 8-10 weeks before the average last frost date. Where there’s times of short season, plant earlier to make sure the plants will be able to produce fruit within that time. About 2-3 weeks after the average last threat of frost day, transplant outside between 18-24 inches apart depending on variety. Sweet peppers do well planted farther apart so they have space to establish themselves to produce prolifically. They require lots of consistent water when forming fruits for best results. Harvest depends on the variety, do research pertaining to your specific type.
